OT: Go Lakers!

that was some sorry officiating for 48 straight minutes. kobe had the look of someone who got caught stealing during the interview after the final horn.

Fellow Laker fans,

Lets look at the posibilities...the real posibilities

What are the chances that Spurs pull off an upset tonight? so-so...it CAN happen whether we like it or not

If so, then it goes to game 6 in San Antonio...in that case, we can say that the Spurs might win that game...then we go to game 7

Lakers are not quite there yet,,,we can't get TOO excited, even though it was exciting that Lakes won in SA...that was sweet. Lets hope that they can close it out tonight.

The only problem with this scenario is that Spurs tend to go crazy when they need to. I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs win tonight.

If the Spurs come out strong just maybe Kobe can drive into the lane in the early minutes and get to the line more than twice in a game. I'm sure they've watched a lot of the film to see what it is Bowen is doing to get away with it.

I think the Lakers know for sure this isn't over yet so I see them coming out strong in an attempt to take early control of the game.
Hoping they stay out of early foul trouble tonight so that doesn't limit Jackson's options.

I love the three point shot but if they get a lead I'd just prefer they keep hammering inside the paint for two to keep things going. Several shots the other night when they had the lead just lead to a miss and SA getting closer.

I look for Kobe to play his role tonight from the start. I got a kick out of him scolding Walton early in game 4 but it seemed to do wonders.

BTW... good game last night and I'm still hoping Boston makes it.

Breaking News.... NBA just admitted that the last play was INDEED a foul.. boo hoo. Too bad too sad I guess.. Lakers have to come out and POUND em early and often. You know the refs will feel sorry for the Spurs because of the other night, so the Lakers might not get some calls at all.

Go Lake Show!!!

The NBA would throw one of its own refs under the bus by coming out with that. I swear David Stern is the Anti-Christ.

Did they look at the call on the previous possession that hit the rim then hit Horry and went out. The shot clock should have been reset instead of leaving the Lakers with little time to bring in inbounds and get a shot off. SA would have had to foul.

My favorite no call was Duncan dancing through the lane on the way to his dunk. Who needs to dribble?

3 steps is nothing. I've seen LeTravel and D-Whistle do 5 steps before dunking and still get the AND1.

Spurs aren't going out without a fight, that's for sure. It's going to be very hard for them to stop the Lakers tonight on home court, so pretty much it's almost "game over" for the Spurs.

Regarding 'the call", I also think that it was a bad move for the NBA to admit their mistake after the fact. Now you're going to have all of America saying the Lakers were given the game and that SAS should have had it. But, I agree with the non-call since SAS wasn't given a call on the travel and the shot clock wasn't reset after hitting the rim...it evens out.

So pretty much after tonight I'm hoping that we're in the Finals. Anyone interested in tix???

yes, maybe. Barb actually watched some of the East game last night instead of the Dodger game
