hey i was down at your shp a few months ago to dive the sugar barge but never did find it in the 2 ft viz. oo wait is that the shop in cortez just over the bridge .

but man the water out at 30 miles was unbelievable i am upset i didnt take my gear . i could have taken the line down and hooked fish for ya lol

I work at the one in Bradenton on manatee ave mostly. Our other shop (where we keep the boats) is just before you go over the bridge to the island. Yeah viz has been good the last 2 weeks, not so good this weekend. Went to go stone crabbing tonight and forgot my reg ....oh well, still a nice night on the water.

P.S.-Don't waste your time with the sugar barge unless your snorkling/free diving.

The water is just a little to chilly for me right now. The sugar barge is a cool beach dive. Straight out from the dive shop about a hundred yards....like 12ft of water maybe 15ft or is it 9ft...

uh oh visual visual....DON"T DO THAT AGAIN TO US!!! nothing against you personally...I wouldn't want to see Brad Pitt in those things either!!! (well maybe Brad, but ONLY him!)!

Good luck with the fishing! Let us know. I heard that fishing still isn't close to what it used to be before the red tide outbreak a couple years ago.

LOL lady thats kinda funny yea i was goin to rent a wet suit so noone would see but the were closing in a hour so i had to go por-underwearo-speedo lol

FISHING REPORT:
Well i must say it was one of the nicest days on the water one could imagine flat calm and the boat had reclining seats inside soo comfy and a very large head it was awsome boat and day
fishing ehhh not wonderful i got 5 grey snappers and some 5 inch red grouper . the boat we only had 3 keeper grouper adn 1 keeper trigger adn a nice flounder so not too much but all in all a ver nice day off .
and recomended to anyone.

You cant take a work boat? . Actually I've been looking into doing some spring diving, I've never done devil's den or blue grado.

Hey, im up for spearfishing if you dont mind me coming too, ill split costs, and TAmike, i'd love to go fishin with ya, just let me know, splitting the cost is no problem, the zoa's are doing great btw. Oh and as far as spring diving, Devil's den is a very cool place to go diving, i have pics, but my desktop is down due to my mohter board fryin out. Just let me know, i love fishing and diving and if anyone is doing anything associated with them, count me in.

Oh, just a quick thought, i wonder if anyone that has a 210gal + would ever stick one of those 20"+ groupers in the tank, lol.

i have talked about using a work boat and the bos man told me i wasent allowed cause if the captain got a call i would be under and hed have to wait for me to surface till we could be dispatched so unless we have a extra boat which sometimes we do in the bay might be a possibility but id have to get one of my captains that are off to run us out .

and gimplar i remember you talking about the place in gainsville . sounds like a great idea i have never done blue grotto either but have dove ginnie springs and santafe river and also crystal river quite a few times and ginnie is really cool caverns and the river holds alot of goodies to find ..

o and i have 2 weeks vacation coming up before may i have to take so lets do it .,,.,
