I was told yesterday by a GameStop employee that they will be selling copies of GH3 Saturday night at midnight (technically Sunday)... they had copies of the game at the store yesterday, but they wouldn't give me my preorder early. I tried bribing them, but they were too afraid of losing their jobs.
And that's correct... there are 5 songs on the demo.
Pearl Jam - "Even Flow"
Pat Benatar - "Hit me with your best shot"
Tenacious D - "The Metal"
Scorpions - "Rock you like a hurricane"
Priestess - "Lay Down"
The complete song list can be found here:

I was playing the demo for quite some time last night. Man, I think I could play Rock you Like a Hurricane for hours
Ya, I was at the midnight release of Halo 3 when that came out. I will never do that again. I'm an adult, and ya, I was excited about the game, and wanted to play it right away and all that, but picture this: A rather conservative adult standing alone amongst a crowd of 700 emo and screamo teens for 3 and a half hours while awaiting the release of the game I wanted. It was something out of a legendary comedy for sure. I was WAY out of my element, not to mention I saw a handful of my own cases there, which was not very awesome.
Ya......I want GH3 real bad, but I'm done with the whole, stand in line with the hundreds of emo and screamo kids to wait for the game I want. I'll just buy it on Sunday morning. Yet, I digress, what ever happened to punk?!

Sidebar, Roackband looks awesome, but expensive. The kit for the game will be around $200!!! It will include the game, the drum kit, a guitar, and a microphone. Awesome. You can just buy the game for $60 when it comes out, and you can use GH guitars for it, but to buy the drums seperately by itself will be about $80, from what I understand. The game looks awesome, but I hear the track listing is only about 40 or slightly more. GH3 will have over 75 songs on it by comparison. And ya, Red Octane is making that game too.
