OT-Looking for a Place to Live in the Edwardsville area.

Not for me for a guy I work with. He is looking for a 1 or two bedroom aprt or house to rent. Has to be on the IL side. Can be edwardsville or anywhere around there close to St Louis. Under $600 a month.

Edwardsville is getting very expensive for housing, something cheaper could be found in collinsville or wood river, both have good interstate access. Edwradsville is turning into an uppity kinda place very fast. I live right behind the new dierbergs and the town is getting pretty crowded.

If you have kids I know their schools are good and if they play sports its a no brainer.

I like edwardsville, but I would try to find something out of town a bit. I know renting is expensive but can be done.

Granite City is another place he can look into.

I know Highland has a few places under 600. Nice quiet town. Good schools. Not to far the get to St. Louis. Have them run the apartment search thing on google, they should have listing on there. Or at least list Property Managements that he could contact.

good luck finding a place for under 600 month, i played that game 4years ago and just bought a house earlier this year. the property value in edwardsville is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
