OT...Lovin' my New Ride!

thnx, it truely is one of my 3 prides...the TRD was slightly out of my price range but I got everything else I wanted & needed...extended bed w bed liner, double cab, leather interior & chrome tube steps, and a HITCH... so that I can buy boat when Im done paying her!!

it was...and I'm soooo glad it finally sold...It's one thing I could check off in my life. Only thing Me and my friends didn't do was the tint, alarm, and exhaust...and the 3 things that had the most problems were the tint(peeling off), alarm(didn't work) and the exhaust(tons of holes) LOL. painting it was a fun day in the garage! LOL even with the respirators we were sooo high! lol never again!

well heres a pic of my truck, everything stock except for the sound, matter of fact there is nothing stock about my sound system. pioneer head unit, alpine typex components on the doors pioneer 6x8s in the back and a 12" kicker L7 in a not-your-everyday custom built box:eek1: gotta get some pics of that thing...it definitely rocks for a 12, too bad if it was for the tank i probably would have gone all out on the system but then my parents would probably kick me out LOL

hey rogger...here's some info on the porsche for ya...or anyone else that cares to read about it. just found this website...
hope the link works as I copied it from my computer.

F:\Documents and Settings\Bob\Desktop\1992 PORSCHE LIMITED EDITION AMERICAN ROADSTER.mht

guess not...nevermind.

haha...my standard cab truck had 6 12's. 6 amps. 12 mids and highs. ps2. 2 tv's. alpine headunit. and hit over 150 Db. never actually "miked"(sp.) it, but had a friend who hit 152 and mine was louder. back wall of the cab used to flex about 1" in and out. couldn't have a rear view mirror cuz it wouldn't stay glued on, untill I used my moms acrylic nail glue and it ripped a circular shape outa the first piece of glass the windshied is made outa. The day my ear started to bleed was the day I took 4 of the 12's out. but the best part about it was...at redlights i didn't have to hear other people music,( i was nice enough to turn mine down unless the person next to me was blaring their music! then it was all on!)

Keith no club just personal fun for my brother and I.
Its truly vintage with 20k something miles. All original with just a stereo added.

No very many that well taken care off with such low mileage.
Out of cali he came.

Its truly a nice ride- seems like u are rfding in a go cart.

Wow, my dream cars...Porsches! I'm drooling!

I grew up with my Dad racing a 66 912 (911 w/ 356 type 4 cyl) and loved every minute of it. I was his pit crew...lugged around jugs of cam 2 racing fuel, rain slicks, torque wrench, etc. for him when he was racing. He also had a lime green 67 911 that I really wanted for my own and he went and sold it to his brother who let it rot in his car port...bummer!

Here's some pics...

One day I will have a Porsche. Probably a 70's - 80's 911. Loved the 930 turbo, but not sure if I would go for it or not. Guess not if someone wanted to give me one ;) !

Oh, and my Dad and brothers still have the racing bug...they raced Acura Integras for a while and now they're into Mazda Miatas. My brother Steve is an official racer with Mazda Racing, so he gets parts at wholesale...very cool...I can get my air intake straight from Mazda, sweet!
