Just FYI if anyone out there has not seen this yet they are at all time low. 5.5% 30 Yr Fixed!

I caught the falling knife back in 2002 at 5.625%. :) not sure if a refi is worth it, especially since they'll value my house for a whole let less...not upside down, but getting close, so I don't want to go there.

mhurley that is a great rate keep that, I'm mostly helping people purchase a home or people in Northbrook (ha ha ha jk) who owe little to nothing compared to their value. But there are a lot of other options for people who's loans are close to the current value of their properties!

I scored a 4% fixed, 30yr back in 2000....gotta love that one!
1st time buyer, had to live in IL. and close by a certain date....good timing is all that is was.

happy holidays!

same here one catch I put 20% down.

My ARM just got LOWERED! I'm living on 5 acres in the middle of nowhere for next to nothing! I think I'll wizz some dough into the reef! Dark St. Pauli Girl instead of swill tonight perhaps?

only problem is be prepared to do some jumping through hoops to get a loan. Banks aren't parting with cash to easily these days.
