OT: Murder at Universalist Gathering

Does anybody know someone affected by the nut-job who shot up the Universalist gathering yesterday morning? Pretty rough stuff.

Before yesterday, I had been half-joking to friends about going armed to church. Jokes have just taken a more serious tone, though, and made me consider it without a hint of joking. I know -- incidents like this are rare. But it still makes me consider something I wouldn't normally consider.

What Rob was telling me .Was that after the guy ran out of bullets the church members jumped him and held him till the police came

Does Rob have first-hand knowledge of what happened? I was listening to the HHH show this morning and I heard one guy jumped in front of the first shot and two other guys tackled him after only three shots. He had another 70+ shells in his pouch. Pretty brave actions by those who stopped the guy. I suppose the story will be clearer after the investigators can release more information.
