OT: My dog was attacked by Pit bull

I have a Rotty that loves playing with other dogs, even tiny ones.

This is an accident that could have happened to anyone with any dog. The dog was not running loose. It could have just have easily been your little Molly who escaped at the door & went after what she considered to be an intruder on her property. She was very lucky indeed but this is not a " vicious dog" problem or even necessarily an irresponsible owner problem. just a tragic accident that could happen to anyone.

I have to agree! My dog loves my cats, they all get along very well. BUT, when the dog comes across one of my neighbors cats in the back yard, its an all out war!! Luckily for the dog, she has cataracts and cannot see more than 4 feet, the cats know this and just walk around her...haha

Animals can be very protective of their domain, look at the little Taco Bell dogs that think they are the biggest, baddest creature on the planet! Only they don't tear the throat out of other dogs and people, but they probably would if they could... are those owners bad owners? Are they dangerous dogs? I bet more people are bit by little sh!t dogs than any other.

As Frizz said, just a tragic accident that could happen to anyone!

BTW, I love the picture posted, I have sent it to all my dog friends!
