OT: NBA Playoffs

I admit...I took a look at the stats I'm surew KDB is reading and can read them just like he can.

Lebron <cough>...might...(covering mouth and mumbling)...have some stupid better stats...

But if I had to pick a player to lead me to the playoffs right now I would still take Kobe over Lebron in a heartbeat. Maybe I am just a blind fan.

Ok I have to Chime in here..................LJ has those stats due to the sorr When Kobe had those stats he was considered a selfish player now that LJ is putting up big numbers on his own he is King James.............ya right. Ask 90% of the current and former NBA players and coaches who is the best all around player today and they will say Kobe. LJ has not even learned how to play defense yet and Kobe is all NBA defense year after year!

And anyone who thinks Shaq was the sole reason for winning 3 titles in a row needs to check there blinders at the door.............the diesel is a bad man but without Kobe and DWayde he wouldn't have any rings!!

As far as Stats go they are soooooooooo close that is not even a good argument IMO. It has nothing to do with being a biased Laker fan that I am but even the experts will tell you the same.

2 seconds left down by 1 point I'll take Kobe you can have Lebron and we will see who wins

Seriously, I'm a huge Kobe fan, and am 40% Laker fan. However, I'm able to admit that Lebron owns Kobe in every way possible, except titles. That will change as soon as he gets something that resembles an NBA supporting cast.

What Lebron did last year with that Cavs team was short of a ******* miracle. There is no way in **** Kobe could have carried that Cavs team to the Finals. Absolutely, positively, no way possible, short of using poison darts on the defensive end.

Karl come on now.............the only thing I give Lebron over Kobe at this point in there careers is size:lol: :lol: Now maybe in 5 years I will have a different point of view but Until Lebron has been in the leauge as long and went through the BS that KB has and is still putting up mind numbing numbers, maybe then will I have a different opinion. But if I were putting together a team today I would take Kobe in a heartbeat over Lebron...............unless it was a Fantasy team:lol: :lol: :lol:

Hey Rob,

The one knock on Lebron was that he didn't have that killer instinct. He amazingly admitted that himself, which is unheard of! That admission alone proved he was a natural leader, something Kobe is not. Kobe needed to be stroked and groomed into one.

What Lebron did to the Pistons last year showed just how much of a killer instinct he has.

Kobe's a killer, no doubt. Lebron has a much higher ceiling, however. I didn't think it was possible considering all the hype he brought, but he does. He's doing Big O stuff in the modern era. That's nuts. He's the perfect blend of Jordan and Magic.

Like I said peoples perception of him as a person has blinded there view of him on the court. And that chick and her friends pretty much admitted it was willing sex on her part.................the only thing he was guilty of is cheating on his wife and buying her a 5 Million dollar ring to make up for it. Had he been convicted of a crime I would not be a supporter so you can put out the Flame on that post of yours cause Rapist are not "my type of guys"

I watch athletes for them to win games not be classy............some of the best Athletes ever were some of the biggest Jerks you would ever meet.

Now that I agree with 100%. Like I said in 5 years I may have a different opinion. LJ size and speed alone give him an advantage over anyone in the NBA

There will always be a-holes that play prof sports. If you dont want to support them then dont, but if they can bring in money and win.... there will probably be lots more.
