OT: NBA Playoffs

Well, well look who found his way back:) Now you did call a good series but there is no way you could have predicted last nights game.
 
i was so happy nothing could have made me happier then to see kobe suck...ps this proves why kg should have won MVP...best player on best team......i now rest my case

Very easy to do when the other team stops playing. Honestly I have never seen a team in the finals with soooo little fire and enthusisim! I can't count how many times there were 3 Lakers around the basket flat footed and one lonely Celtic that get's the rebound every time. And that was every single game of the series.

BTW, KG is not the best player and didn't even win MVP in the finals!!! He is good and frees up space for everyone on his team but Pierce was a monster especially the last 2 games!!
 
okay did u miss that whole series? yes pp had TWO good games BUT kg had 6 GREAT games and kg proved hes the best player in the league last night...hes a 5 tool player..no one in the nba can do what he does PERIOD..pp did not deserve the mvp...with out kg the celtics dont win that series or even make it that far now u cant argue with that correct? so that right there warrants mvp...ps the only reason pp won mvp was bc he came back from an injury if that didnt happen he doesnt win it
 
Got to disagree. Yes they dont win without KG, I agree. BUt they also dont win without PP either.


Now league MVP can definitely be disputed as why i think in the past people have said the MVP should be given at the end of the season
 
well yes i agree with u on that pp and kg should have shared it if anything...i believe they where that important


but this shows that kg def deserved the regular season mvp
 
Same could be said that without Pierce they don't win. Injury?? BS!! Several times when the game was on the line it was Pierce that brought them back not KG.

Don't get me wrong I like KG and IMO he is a Top 5 Player in the NBA but he has proven when the game is on the line he cannot make a shot!!

Like I said before KG was my MVP through 4 games but Pierce turned it on when it counted the most. And I wouldn't say he had only 2 good games. IMO he only had 1 Bad game

KG is a beast and can do anything on the court and there is no getting wround that!
 
Yeah think we can leave it there. The Celtics played great all year and the finals were no exception.

The only funny thing about the Celts season was the Hawks took them to a game 7 in the first round, that was crazy

I think that is what made me underestimate them in the playoffs. I knew the Big 3 were as good as it gets but man did there role players step up big time!!
 
Yeah after i saw that i was like man the pistons will beat them.

I just think it was like the annoucers at the time said that the hawks not really a good team but they are so individually athletic it gave the Celts some issues as you know the Celts D did not look good in that series at all
 
Yeah i have never been a Wallace fan he has to be about the biggest baby ever.

Vlades flopping use to drive me nuts also and i even liked the Kings then
