ot: need a tree trimmer

Anyone know a good tree trimmer in east orlando? I have a big nasty oak over my house that needs to come down. I probably cannot afford to pay someone, but figured I would get some quotes anyway.

Don't know if he works in that area or not, but i just used Pete's tree service up here, and he removed a huge tree for me for $450 that everyone else was quoting $700 and up. He has a bucket truck so no worries about dropping a limb on the house. They did a great job and didn't leave a single leaf on the ground when they left. 352-669-7668

when looked up online pete is out of leesburg, the GA line maybe closer! The number for kevin is up that way too. 352 lists as gainsville

I don't know how far Pete will go, but he does really good work cheap. I had 4 quotes and all were $700 +. He did the job for $450, and did a perfect job and didn't leave a single leaf on the ground when he finished. Not a personal friend or anything either. He cut down a huge tree from over my driveway, enough to way over fill his 2 ton dump truck. He was a real good guy and did a great job for almost half what everyone else quoted me. One guy quoted me $700 if i hauled everything off or burned it myself lol. I think his shop is actually in Umatilla.

I am almost to titusville. It would add more than 3 hours to the time to do the work for anyone from north of orlando! I had a guy out this way who did some work for me really cheap, but he lived only 2 streets away. I have lost touch with him though. I dont even know if i could get someone to drive 3 hours round trip to give me an estimate. If I dont hear from anyone else then I will try giving them a call.

You might ask Marcye @ SITC. She lives kinda near you and she had a huge tree that came down in her yard and she spoke very highly of the people who came and chopped it up and took it away. I believe it happened during the more recent hurricanes.
