OT: Need graphics card advice

what should i get? lol

Its gotta be a PCI express and under $250

my computer specs are
AMD Athlonâ"žÂ¢ 64 X2 dual-core processor 4200+
1 gig of PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM
320GB harddrive

but basically i wanna be able to play any game i want, i dont need the most top notch graphics card out there (thats why my price range is 250 not $600 )

i've always used Geforce graphics cards and i live them, but if any if yall have other suggestions, im all open ears

I have an EVGA 7950GT OC in my PC. It will play just about anything you can throw at it. And in your price range. I have this in my wife's PC as well.

If you wanted to spend a little more ($25 or so) you could get an 8800 320mb card. (DX10 compliant)

I second the 8800 card. Splurge Gimpy, you’re worth it. The only down side is you may need to up the power supply.

I like my new 7600GT - 100$ at newegg.com - newegg is a great place to research and they have extremely good prices.
