Does anyone know where to buy local a large container, 200+G, to store water that would be used for watering in the garden? I'm in San Jose. Thanks!

I think I have a heavy duty outdoor drum. It has fiberglass outer coating and thick poly propylene inside. let me know if you are interested.

FYI check the Santa Clara valley water District website. They may have reimbursement programs for you for water conservation measures. Valleywater.org

You can pick up some IBC totes for $75 in san jose. Great for the purpose you need and comes in 275gallon standard size. Valve is located at the bottom of these totes and you buy some adapters to covert 2" size to garden hose.

Thanks, where in San Jose are these for sale?

Heavy Duty Outdoor tank

So the Tank I have is overbuilt in my opinion and it is solid. It is very think polypropylene tank and to protect from UV it has another half inch of fiberglass to it. It has a diameter of 45 inches and 53 inches tall. So it is 360 gallons tank.

This was originally bought for koi pond filtration system. a feet or so from bottom it has a 4 inch bulkhead(the 4" bulkhead alone was $50), and in the bottom it is drilled for 2" bulkhead. You can close the bulkhead with cap if you are not going to use it. For 4 inch bulk head I would suggest adding a 2" reducer, but it is up to you.

I paid $300 for this couple of years ago and barely used it and I would like it sell it for $150, but all offers will be entertained. I will post the photos soon. Some leaves have fallen into tank and the bottom may not look clean.

The 4" bulkhead is is newly done and it is watertight and I checked it couple of months ago.
