Now that was some excellent strategic planning!!!

I love Panny plasma's!!

plasma, tsk tsk. Go with DLP, larger size same money, last you longer. Enjoy your TV nonetheless!

I've got a 1080 62" DLP.

Dont forget about the downsides to a DLP. You have to buy a new bulb every 3 to 6 thousand hours. And they ususally go for 3 to 6 hundred.

I cringe at the thought of how much that costs...

But DAMN thats a nice TV. Samsung LCD's IMO are the best thats out there.

62" sony Grand wega 1080p HD tv

my family has had it for 3 years and still havent needed to replace the bulb. we were told the bulb would probably need to be replaced yearly :D

Its a great TV. cant wait to watch the game on it!!!!

Buy it at Costco...Not sure if you all know, but they have a no questions asked return policy...you can bring it back to upgrade in two years and recieve a credit for the amount you payed...Wild! Hope this helps...Carl

They take returns after 2 years :eek1: I would like to see that policy in writing in regards to TV's ;)

Costco's policy is posted when you enter the store and also by their service desk. Don't buy your TV there though please. If too many people start doing that the policy will likely change.

Costco does have a 1080p 47" Vizio LCD for 1899 with an addtitional 250$ off coupon right now. The LCD's keep getting cheaper. $1650 is a damn good deal for that TV

I'm not suggesting abusing the policy...That would be wrong..But in the event for a problem with a large price purchases...Good piece of mine. :)

The LCD sits on a stand, right? Not wall mounted? Man, I think I'm gonna go check those out tomorrow night, I wonder how long it would take Comcast to come over and get me hooked up to HD!

Watching the Super Bowl at home, HD would be very cool.
