That's funny^^^ My folks finally got rid of the one with a cord last year when they redid the kitchen; other than a handful of replacement stretchy cords, it worked flawlessly for over 40 years.

they have an ad on TV running up here that features a remodeled kitchen with a stretch cord telephone- a kind of "retro look".
