yeah, back in the day, they might give you a warning, but in a city where they keep finding ways to make money through the police department (thank you Serpas and Purcells), there is little to no likelihood of getting off with a warning. I guess if it is a means to an end, we can give up a few deaths and robberies (every cop that has pulled me over has been nothing but polite, so don't get me wrong, I just think the people who make policy have the wrong priorities).
