OT: plasma vs lcd

Thats what my main concern always was... I play alot of sports type games and the score box always stays in the same spot on the screen....

Ive been playing on the LCD for over a year now and not a single problem..... I think the game mode thing is just a screen saver type of feature that will dim the screen when its paused on the same thing too long... When youre playing a certain game over and over that has something in the same spot on the screen is what would worry me...

Every tv can get burn in I saw tons of crt's with burn in because there local station"s were ghosting for years, Like a line down the side of the pic when you go to a black screen its still there.

100% true, but it takes a LOOOONG time of the same image to burn a CRT... Plasmas burn so much hotter that it would take no time when compared to a CRT....

Plasmas do get really hot thats one thing that sucks. You can feel the heat off of them when your working by it.
