There is a good chance that I will be selling my preamp. Its a tube Balanced Audio Technology VK-30se. If you know what this is I dont have say a thing about it. Send me a PM and we can work out a price, the remote was a $500 option and it is included.

I worked at a high end audio store while I was in college. I got to play around with all kinds of goodies back then. I have a decent Home theater now. B&W speakers. Velodyne cervo controlled woofer, 6.1 surround. Getting dated though, probably 5 years old now. Haven't seen anything really that made me want to upgrade yet.
For stereo I have a Mac tube amp that just sounds so warm.

I love B&W's, to be honest I fell in love BAT stuff after I listened it driving a set of 802 nautilus. I have a velodyne in the theater, not a ULD or anything good, just a basic sub. If I sell the preamp I will end up combining both systems into one theater in the basement. I would just hate not having a 2-channel system upstairs where most of my time is spent but whatever. Mac makes beautiful stuff as well, lots of people pair logans with Macs.

I am really dated on new audio stuff. I bought all my stuff pre-CD. LOL

It took me years to get used to the sound of digital music. I still have my old NAD power amps and Thiel Audio speakers. Yep, I am that old.

WOW,, I like it. How do you think it will drive a set of Carver speakers.. Currently I have Luxman powering it. If you are an audio buff you may of heard of that company.

Will you trade for frags?...lol.

Yes, I would be willing to trade it for 210g totally setup and ready to go, rocks, sump skimmer, lights, etc. :-)

But its only the preamp, so it wont be driving anything, but the VK-500 might be next to hit the streets and that will power pretty much anything you hook it to. Bob Carver started a company called Sunfire about 15 years ago, I'm not sure if he sold that company off or not but they made some pretty neat stuff but were mostly known for their super compact subwoofers. Luxman is actually the same company that owns Alpine, if my memory serves me correctly.

I had a sunfire woofer at one time, It was so beafy you could stand on the cone. The massive rubber surround really pounded.
Reminds me of a time back in the day, I was probably 21-22 or so.
I lived in a 3 story apt. building and the guy below me was a total fill in the blank. He'd come home drunk at mid night or later and start jamming on his electric guitar. So after months of being ****ed, I brought home a 18 inch powered woofer from Def tech and plugged it in turned it up and left for a hour or too.
Needless to say He didn't jam late again but I did need to by new dishes, glasses and some new pictures. Everything vibrated out of the cabinets. My fish probably didn't like me much after that either.
