OT - Question about IPHONE

I just called t mobile and the promotional price is being given out to a select number of customers only. They may release the promotion to wide distribution soon.

man i just went over to the Att page. There is no way to get a family plan with two Iphone. It said only one iphone per household
Well that sucks. I'm not answering the door any more just in case it's someone coming to repo my wifes iphone.

JK! I had no problem doing it. they do however charge for two data connections.

i have a question. In the past years i have always gone to San Gabriel to get my phone in the Chinese shops. Back in the day i could get about $400 credit to get any phone i wanted per line. And if i did not want to get a phone they would cut me a check for $350 after 30 days.

Can these shops hook it up for Iphones.

The last time i signed up again with T-mobile we just kept our old phones and they cut us out a check for $595 for both of use just for signing up for a 2 year contract. and this one is about to end in Sep.

Any one know anything about hook ups with Iphone?

I worked at apple for a VERY long time! And one thing is that u can be VERY certain that NOTHING is ever certain. Yes the update and a new iPhone is expected but u will never know when. Even if they annouce it, it may not be for a few months until u can buy it.

If u need answers feel free to PM and I will give u an educated answer...

ktrandc,

You can expect a new iPhone in June. Version 3.0 of the software is a free update to all iPhone users and $9.99 for iPod Touch users. There really isn't any reason to jailbreak anymore as the new version of iPhone software will allow most of the things that were only available on jailbroken phones such as tethering your phone to your computer to use it as a modem.

If you can still use your 2G iPhone I would wait until June at this point as it is rumored that the new phones will have a faster processor, more memory, a better camera and who knows what else.

I'm an iPhone developer and I can tell you without breaking the NDA that the new OS is awesome.

Marlene

are there any software that you have developed out for sale? if so we may need to talk, i have a few programs in mind that i think can make some cash but i want to see what the 3.0 allows before moving forward with my ideas.

AT&T has no limit on iPhones per household.

thats exactly what i figured, setting a cap PER HOUSEHOLD would be a super idiotic thing for a company to do if they want their product to run like wild fire. this isnt Sea Food City... there are no max 3 bags of rice per customer visit

hahaha

but really i just went on the home page and tried to order it and it said only one iphone per household per plan i was like WTH

I was a creative at Apple and taught countless lessons on all aspects of mac! LOL many to people on iPhones, that shouldn't have iPhones! Haha

If u go into the apple store u should me able to get that all taken care off. When the 3g came out they didn't let customers purchase iPhones online because of how many where going overseas and being unlocked. The first gen iPhone had a 40% rate of the iPhone purhased going to the actual buyer.

That explains the online purchase limiting 1 iPhone

I think what it implies is that if you get an iphone (8 gb) at $199, you can only get 1 at that price. You can't sign up for AT&T service and get 2 of them at $199 for 1 person. That's how I read it.
