OT - RC Airplanes

I've been working on a quadcopter for the last few weeks and got it flying pretty well today right before dark. I was adjusting the gains during the first half of the video so that is why I am jerking it around some to see how it responds. Near the end I got it flying pretty much how I want it to. I got a little too confident at the end.

Looks nice! Also looked really solid... until the end, anyway.

I've got two motors and an ESC for one of those Assassin wings. I'm still hoping to put one together soon. Just need the wing and two MG servos. Should be a lot of fun to fly methinks.

This quad has gotten my confidence up in a couple of flights. I never got nearly as comfortable with the other quad. I am really having fun flying it and can't wait for spring so I can do more flying.

I haven't even looked into those wings since we looked at them last fall. I just looked and they have a 3 pack for a little cheaper. If Rick is still wanting one too we could order them all together and save a few dollars. What motor do you have? I might have one that will work but not sure exactly what to use.

I grabbed two of these: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5423 which are the eMax motors and seem to be recommended. I grabbed two just in case combat goes the way I expect it may... lol
