he is definitely due for a feeding this week and I am looking for a pet store that sells frozen rats...preferably close to chesterfield, but I'll take what I can get

thanks again guys

Out of your way but a good one to stop at:

270 South to 44 East take the Elm exit:right to Watson:left it will be about a 1/4 mile down on your right in the Farmers Market plaza.

Tropical World Pets

also out of the way, lynn's pets in wentzville.
i used to get mice for my bearded dragon there.

I don't know if they carry them, but have you checked PetSmart in Chesterfield Valley or Petco on Clarkson Road just south of Chesterfield Mall?

Andy's Animals sells alot of snakes, lizards, etc. He even has a breeding pair of some sort of snake. I am pretty sure they sell something along those lines. He is at Vance and the 141. Not too terribly far from you.

My local Petco has frozen rats. If you're in a real pinch try them in your area first. Maybe call and ask. I'm not a big fan of PC but I saw them (frozen rats) in the freezer case in back while I was looking for a stand.

Very nice reptile section. And quite close. Anyone who wonders by should PM me and possibly stop by... Always enjoy meeting the fellow reefers.

I called Andys and he didnt have anything big enough....the place that Steve recommended has some so I might go there today, but I think I'll check petco first....back when the snake was a baby petco had the small ones I needed...perhaps they have the large ones now

I dont buy/feed live because of the reason Steve mentioned but also because I killed a live rat before and it was quite unpleasant and I would like to not have to do it again....the snake is not skin and bones or anything so I'd like to find frozen if possible...I'll post some feeding pics soon when I find the cuisine

thanks for all the suggestions
