OT: school districts?

We're looking to relocate in the next couple years and would love recommendations for schools that we can look into; we have K & 3rd children, and both deserve advanced learning opportunities. We're hoping to find an affordable community of more than 3000 where we can move our small farm/build on at least ten acres, preferably agricultural land.

No one responded so I'll try. I grew up outside of Binghamton (don't go there) at JC. A decent school, but too small for many opportunities. UE (Endicott) is more of a in town school (prob won't find the land in the district you are looking for) but bigger. In the middle is ME (Main / Endwell) has a lot of map coverage but large enough to have more programs. Now in Ithaca, I think the diversity available is the greatest of having rural and city life combine. Add the interaction and relationships available with Cornell and I think all opportunities can be met, while still living a life in Upstate.

Thank you, I was curious about Endicott, but I see it's listed as a suburban area. Good schools are hard to find, especially when wanting it connected to a more rural setting.
