#24 is Kobes Highschool Jersey, wearing 00-or any number wont affect his game.
Why hes changing it who gives? That number isnt what made him a great basketball, numbers are to make Refs jobs easier.

Actually i do think Lakers are a great team without Kobe. As a team they do what they are told and been trying to learn the Triangle offense for some time. Yes it is difficult to learn a new offense. Keep in mind Kobe does not make players around him better. Greatness comes from players able to play above the rim and at the same time making players around them better. Kobe has fell short in that area. He plays for himself.
The Lakers are built like the old Bulls. The team is made to Kobe's and Phil jacksons needs. They want Kobe to be the man but also lead his team. He has been giving this opportunity and so far has fell short.
As for the statment about Kobe taken away from the Lakers what are you left with?
Well take any star from a team and what are you left with? Take Micheal Jordan from the bulls and what do you have?
Point is Nash makes his team better, Kobe hardly does that.
Votes are in, eveyone feels Nash has been a greater asset as a team member than Kobe, no argument there. Kobe is a better player than Nash, no argument there.

i was agreeing to the opost above that,but if you want an aguement here you go,

this i have to say is that micheal won how many MVPs?(go look it up,theres 5 for the league, and all six NBA Finals MVP awards) and he is considered one of the best players in the League(comapred with kobe,wilt,larry,and in my opinion magic) so kobe is in the same situation,so why isnt he crowned MVP

As a player KObe is one of the best. I never said othewise but he hasnt proven any thing special when it comes to making his team play better that isnt him. I think they choose MVP according to how much you impact your team. I dont know about WILT , never watched him play or followed his history. If this was a best player in the league as a individual 81 points means a whole lot even against the Raptors but he was on a run against the MAvs also.

A lot of people hate Kobe because of reasons outside of basketball....If that court case never happened every hater in this thread would be rooting him on right now....
