sweat, here are the pics I promised
I ended up getting some "medium" sized rats at Petco, but the dude said he'd start stocking some larges if I wanted, so I ordered 10...the snake has already eaten the medium I fed him and its only been 15 minutes...it usually takes him 45 mins to hammer down a meal...that is how small these "mediums" were...oh well...he needed something
the snake is a 2 year old boa (BCI) that is 100% het for albino...it was part of a project my buddy and I started a few years ago....the snake is actually a she, but I call it a he, big deal...the snake's name is Bill Kurtis, named after the coolest guy on TV...she's about the size of a pop can at her middle and growing rapidly
anyways, on with the pics
here is a closer shot, I tried to get the mouth on this one...her coils are incredibly strong...a few minutes after she started the constriction I noticed that the rat had developed a huge bruise under its skin, the entire side of the rat was red after about 5 minutes
thanks for looking, hopefull, in your opinion, this thread was grosser than steve's tarantula thread
