I just saw this thread,i've been drag racing since i was 17,nothing serious,the fastest i've ever gone was 10.3's at 137 in a camaro with a 150 shot.Now i'm into imports(only awd dsm) since i got my butt wiped by one years ago on the street,been hooked on them ever since.My daily driver is a low 11sec 2.0liter.

its a little late to be joining in on this one but i just found it. i have a 2001 civic, im 17 have no job and these hobbies suck money out of me any time i get some. but the car is done until i get a job. dont mind the hood pins my hood latch seized up and i spent about a week tring to get it unstuck and then gave up and didnt have the money for a new one so i spent 10 bucks on these. and they are close because they were two perfect holes already in the fmic support.
You drag race that thing? What's your ET?

After borrowing my buddies Evo IX a few times, I would add that to the list....
Still not as much fun as a ton of cubes under the hood though.... Or right behind the driver in your case.... :beer:

Yeah some of the imports are fast with enough money. But theres no feeling like a big V8 rocking and shaking a car at idle. And the unmistakable sound of the exhaust. Man I want to go start my car up now and smell the race gas.

lol, anything could be fast if you have the money and knowledge to do so. nothing like twisting the chasis in a v8 but try lauching a fwd with 400+ hp, its much more difficult. ive been in an low 8s chevelle and 9s grand national before, the car would have flipped over if it wasnt for the wheely bars, screw that @$%@ for me. i just need a 11s daily driver and im happy.

Yeah seen a couple like that. Thats a bad *** pic. Nothing cooler than yanking the front end up in the air and praying it comes down where you pointed it.

haha, scary as hell. i rather deal with trying to get traction from 1st-4th, but if you drive right with some massive slicks and VHT, aint nothing to be scared of then.

fastest I ever had it I really dont know speedo only goes to 180. I was pegged and still had 1500 rpm in 5th gear and still had 6th
