OT......spring...drag racing???

2.0 liter is what coke comes in, it shouldnt be a motor size. :lolspin:

If my memory serves, Roman is a Mopar guy.....
Someone has to like winning... ;)

What do you have?
Nothing compared to some of you guys. I wish I could say I have a Hemi Challenger or a tubbed Duster or even a blown Dart, but I can't. I have a Dodge Dakota. Its no ordinary Dakota though. I conservatively estimate it was high 12's to LOW 13's with the stock 318. Ported and polished everything, all the bolt-ons I could get, things like the fuel pump and ram-air box I made fit, things like fuel rails and solid motor mounts I made. LOTS of other custom goodies including S/S springs for a Charger, an 8 3/4 axle stuffed with 4.30's and the battery is even in the bed. ;)

Once I paint the frame, the 450 hp 360 will go back in. I had it in, but the "performance" chip I had was not enough for the new engine... It took a while but I have gathered all the parts I need to make this truck pick the front tires up this summer, including the Holley Commander 950 MPFI system complete with a 1000cfm 4 barrel throttle body. :D I had another 8 3/4 shortened for the truck too. I still have to weld the leaf spring perches, shock mounts and the brace on though.. Looking at a new stall converter as well. I had a 3400-3800 TCI, but that wasn't so hot for the street with the 4.30s and 3 speed I had in.. :mixed:

Here's my pooch..... =P

Not a big mustang guy, but worked on a couple new saleen stangs. All I got to say is I would buy one of those. Holy crap thats a lot of horse power for the street.

So I got a bass boat last year. Now I could have been normal but normal isnt for me.

225 hp yamaha V-max skeeter zx-225 = 75-80 mph on th water.

Jmalone81 Nice car. What size motor? Looks like an early suncoast car. Also did you just rewire the car? I would have moved all the electronics up to the front (thats what I did) . keeps them away from all the vibration and eliments. If it rains or water spray from the burnout.

Thanks drag racer! The motor is a 620 bb Chevy.Nope it's not a suncoast it a spitzer. Yeah the car was rewired about a year ago. I don't know what happened to all of pics I had better ones.

For the 9.99 and faster guys , who's excited about spending another $300-$500 on an engine diaper?
To be honest I'm done with Rt.66 and NHRA .
I understand safety, but some of these safety rules are out of hand,
recertifying a cage every 2-3 yrs, update bell housings, and the one that gets under my skin the most is the seatbelt harnesses, you have to be seriously kidding me how in the hell do those go bad every 2yrs? that breakdown from Uv is a bunch of crap.
Now this diaper rule, just another way for somone to make some kickback money. I'm not saying politics are proabably involed but I'm just saying.

Well the diaper rule I 100% agree with. Has saved alot of cars and drasticlly reduced the clean up time. You can have one for $150. The seat belt thing is a load of crap. They should have a recert fee thats cheaper than buying new ones as long as there not torn or worn bad.

engine rebuild

hey does anyone know someone that can rebuild my 429? been looking to get my engine rebuilt for awhile now but dont know whats the average going price for getting it done is. any suggestions or can someone lead me in the right direction thanks

Pm me about some info on it, and I'll see what i can recommend.
I'm in the process of building 2 engines right now, one hydraulic roller and one solid roller, both will have blowers. They both should make around 600hp on hyd, and 850 on solid.
