OT......spring...drag racing???

Use to run Cordova for the bracket finals. But they moved it to Martin Mich a couple years ago. Been to Us 41 once about 4 years ago. They had a sat-sun 2k each day to win. Went to the finals the first day, runner up. Made it down to 8 cars on sunday. Neat track, small.

i still have to finish the body work.

Nice. Love the 62-67 chevy II's My dream car is a 67 chevy II. Want to build one for the street/strip. Have you ever seen the twin turbo 67 that ran the power tour? Was pink at the time. Beautiful car, street legal and runs in the 6's.

yeah beautiful car. all the technology is crazy.I love the power tour pictures with these "street cars" dragging trailers around the country!

Couple pics of my father in laws car, Helped him build it from the ground up. I did all the wiring. And helped him with the final assembly.

Hey were all out there doing the same thing and having fun. Plus it looks like your doing all your own work which is even more rewarding in this hobby. What kind of times did the stang run?

Last time I was at the grove it was 13.0 at 104.6, that was before heads, cam, intake work, tune, and 3.73 gears... Havent been back in a long time.... Id say its low 12, high 11's on a tire....

Im going to be throwing a 408 into it before it rides again though, so everythings going to be changing.... I already got my intake for it so I can fit it all under the stock hood still....

Things are just coming along slowly.... I just had to go and buy a house... :lmao:

Still undecided..... Im leaning towards going solid roller NA, should be able to hit 550 RWHP with the combo dialed in, and then spray the snot out of it when needed....

If I go lower compression and do a power adder it'll definitely be a turbo, but that just adds another 5K to the mix when all is said and done.

We shall see. I have quite a few side jobs lined up for spring, so if they pay out like they should I might be going turbo.

Drag Racer: I see a nice looking 67-69 camaro in the background under the that cover. What's up with that one?

I actually threw my car to the side once we bought a house as well , now there's too many projects to do and not enough time to go racing. I hope this year I can get back on the track and do some local racing, no brackets, maybe index or heads up.
We'll see.
Here's my slow 5oh. Please don't mind the sweet winnebago in the backgound. I need to figure out how to photoshop that out someday.

The problem is usually what kind of background to replace it with....

Some patterned background ????

What I usually do with my car pictures is just desaturate (take color away) everything but the main car. That way the car pops off the background, but the background is still there...
