OT: T-Mobile just did me right

Let me tell you, I have been with many phone companies in these previous years, including At&t, Cingular, and Sprint and none of them nearly compare!!

I have never hung up the phone after talking to customer service for a mobile ompany before happy, ever in my life!! As some of you may have read, there were a couple complications with this previous shipping order that had to get smoothed out...well, without ever knowing it, I happened to go 177 minutes over my plan. If any of you know about this kind of situation, an extra $80 on a phone bill in my current state was going to be extremely rough. Well, I called up T-mobile and they actually helped me out...when I went over through sprint, they said, "Sorry, nothing we can do, but we can change your plan for next month."

What T-mobile did was spectacular. They gave me a new "promotional" deal that was the exact same cost with 400 extra minutes a month just for signing as two-year contract. Since my contract with them was on for another year, it only extended my contract by one year, same cost, no fees for the addition, and they back-logged it for last month, meaning I still have 230minutes instead of being over by 177:)

I don't much give these types of reviews for companies and I rarely see the very well-spoken, intelligent, kind, and fast customer service as I received today.

If anyone is switching services, look carefully at T-mobile...best in the business if you ask me. Just as a disclaimer, I have no affiliation with, and am not profiting from, the promotion I just gave to T-mobile...I am just a very satisfied customer that got $80 back in my pocket almost for free(just for extending a contract I probably would have anyway).

Just think, once my contract is up, maybe the iPhone will be affordable:).

Sounds like a heck of a deal. The whole key to a good phone plan though is to make it through a contract and not sign a new one. I have had sprint for 5 years now. When i had a contract it was always sorry about your luck sir. Since my plan expired, i can call them complaining about something, and they bend over backwards to keep me happy. In the last 2 years, they have given me 2 new phones, and not cheap one either ($300). The last time i called mad about a dropped call, i got 2 months free service, and within about a week, my signal at home jumped from 2 or 3 bars, to full signal all the time. Two year plan to the phone companies = sucker, no contract = valued customer.

I actually have to say I went from sprint to tmobile and never looked back. The only bad part is I dont get cell reception inside my house unless I stand on one foot and spin in circles near this one window in my house but it comes in fine just up the street

They have really good plans and really good customer service without having to worry about if you're on a contract or not.

I'm really glad they helped you out Craig thats awesome!

I am with verizon. I had a month 2 months ago where I was going to be over and wanted to bump my plan up to the next one. They had a fairly new plan that looked really good (texts and stuff included), but since it was new they could not backdate my plan to the beginning of the cycle. She "gifted" me 200 bonus minutes so I would not have any overages. This was at 7pm on the last day of the billing cycle.

verizon has been VERY good to me for the last year of service!

verizon did that for me once years ago - but not when it happened lately (after switching back with them)- but i have to tell you dropped calls and such are a thing of the past with them. i drive everywhere for business and i have found 1 place in florida so far i dont get perfect signal and i drive to people houses in the sticks sometimes! places you lock your doors and look both ways but not for cars!

i used to have t-mobile and now have verizon. I would never ever ever go back! after my 2 year contract with verizon i got a nice *** phone with a built in mp3 player and all the other goodies. i think it's like a $350 phone for 29.99. unlimited online...unlimited texts...and I never ever loose my signal. not once have i had no signal!!!

yeah, verizon is the dogs nuts when it comes to connectivity. If I have a bar I can make a good call. Its like they have some sort of alien technology.

Verizon is fantastic for connectivity. Its the only phone that will work all the way from Orlando to Geneva! I've had Sprint, T-Mobile and one other, and lost signal constantly. They also give me a fantastic deal on a phone upgrade for V-Cast when I renewed my phone. Congrats, though, on the Customer service with T-Mobile! Nice to hear that some companies do have great customer service these days as there are many that don't.

Can't wait to get the iphone, looks pretty cool but I'm stuck with my Blackjack for 2 years :) by that time the iphone probably is going to be a 30 gig instead of 8 gigs, 8 is just not enough. Good to hear about the T-Mobil customer service.
