OT - Tattoo Shops in Rochester

I'm thinking about another tattoo and wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with the shops in Rochester. My first came from point of view down in Geneseo and I was really happy with it. Just wanted to see if there were any to avoid in town and which are reccomended. The color has held up really good in the one I have now and that is one of the main things I am worried about along with good detail work.

they were one of my choices originally. PCI do you know tom or has he just done work on you? I might have stop and check out your tanks and ink work.
 
love hate tatoo is a good shop also.i grew up with the owner.his wife was on the cover of one of the magazines for the work he did on her.its across from genesee hospital behind the donut shop
 
almost forgot there is a good one on west henrietta too next to the big beverage place.seen some nice work come out of his place.physical grafitti is great too as mentioned.guess rochester is spoiled with tattoo shops as we are with fish stores!!!
 
Kinda off topic, off topic, but do you guys have any tatoos that you regret?

Wildside was the first place I went a few years ago when I started looking. nice and clean and like you said jimmer, some quality work.

Kent, I'm glad that I got mine, but I did put a lot of thought into it and made sure it meant something to me and wasn't just a "cool" thing to do.

I tattooed my ex-husbands name on my butt. I regret that. My current husband finds it quite funny. I had it redone about a year ago and now I have a cool tree frog. I do not reccomend getting names tattoed on unless you are sure they will be around as long as the tattoo is.

This was a good thread I was wondering the same thing I want to get my daughters name on me but didnt know where to go PG it is. I will be PMing you in the near future PCI and will have your buddy get it done for me.

Nope!
Each one of mine I drew myself, and had them done at certain times of my life.
Each has a diff meaning all its own.

My Favorite is the Chain link I have around my Bicept.Has my daughters names in the links.

I think I would have left it there, and smiled everytime I sat down!
 
My husband teased me so much about it! When I was getting dresses or out of the shower sometimes he would kiss the tattoo and say " Good Morning Pat!" or look at it and say "I wonder how Pat is?" I was thrilled to get it recovered!

unless it is ever a childs name I know I would never get a name on me. If I make it past christmas with money in the bank I'm gonna do it. I just about have my design finished and I'll have someone who is actually artistic or whoever I decide to get it done by do me a final sketch. I think from all the comments I've heard here about PG and elsewhere that is where I will be going. PCI looks like Tom is going to get some work thanks to you. I'll drop you a pm and we can meet up.
