OT: Tattoos

I didn't wanna hijack the "Reef related tattoos" thread again. But as I mentioned 6 weeks ago, I was gettin' a Marilyn Monroe portrait tattoo. I got it done Sat. It's on the inside of my right forearm. The artist did a awesome job. She really amazed me. It took about 2 hours and 45 minutes. I laid on my back as she did the tat and didn't take one peek to see how it was. I was really nervous how it would come out because I've seen some jacked up Marilyn tats online. I really think this is up there with the best of them...

And I have another appointment in 2 weeks.......it's addicting

got some more work today. I really love how this one turned out. It's on the outside of right forearm...

Will get the color done in about 3 weeks. The mic is pretty much done I think. Gonna do purple roses on this one and color the flames red/yellow.

Beautiful artwork!
I have had purple in my tat for almost 15 years and it still looks great but the orange and yellow was gone within a year . I hope your ink holds better than mine but maybe ink tecnology has changed in the last decade!! :lol:
