Would everyone still praise tebow, buy his jersey and shout his name, if he didn't conveniently fit everyone's lifestyle?

Would they love him the same if after every play he laid out a prayer mat and faced towards Mecca?

God surely has more important issues than helping a rookie qb in a football game. And if tebow fans can credit God for helping Tebow win, it also means that clearly God prefers the Pats, as seen by the two team meetings.

I'm glad he's a Christian, I'm glad he's strong faithed, but for 60 minutes, he's relevant to the world as a sports player only, which he's not very good at being yet. The NFL needs to stay far away from trying to take a religious look, it'll only cause problems.

Looked more like Tommy Time to me. Nine for 26 with a 50 passer rating is pretty bad for a starting quarterback. Tebow's a good kid, but he's much more hype than actual reality.

Yeah but if you watched the game than you would see that his recievers were responsible for dropping half of those passes that hit them in the hands..when it mattered too on third downs. If you know the game of football than you would also clearly see that the broncos coaching staff got schooled... 35 points in one half? The pats just scored at their own will. That isn't tebows fault.

By the way, the pats haven't won any superbowls since they got caught cheating.

Not a Tebow fan nor a hater, but I am curious if there would be such a thing as Tebow-Mania if he were not so open about his religion? Would there be all these haters, either? What would happen to all the open haters if he were Muslim? Just sayin'
