I had my fingers crossed for Larry Brown........
Another brilliant decision by the Sacramento Kings that will definetly put us on the fast track to another winning season........sigh.....
Vagabond or not, LB has lead a team to the finals and won. Something the Maloofs or Reggie have not done......

musselman didn't develop all the young talent we have on the squad. he always look constipated when things went wrong. it was not a sight i wanted to see another season. hopefully this signals that they are looking to rebuild. move the vets out and bring in some new blood.

To be honest, football is my favorite sport anyways......
But hoops "were" nice to hold me over until fall.... that is, when the Kings were good.
But I hope this is the first step in a major overhaul. The paper has been reporting that we probably won't even recognize this team in 3 seasons.
Lets just hope ol' Reggie will turn out to be a winner. He has really done well in New Mexico, I guess we'll see first hand what he can do in the NBA......
I still think Larry was the better choice though.....

I hear ya. I bleed RED/GOLD and have 49ers tatted on the back of my leg. As for BBAll I am a Lakers fan but I'm no fool and I realize Sac. w/out the Kings JUST SUCKS!

There are reports that the Lakers MUST do it before the draft, to get the absolute best return. If Kupchak and Buss didn't have the cojones to pull the Kidd/Bynum deal (which they should have:rolleye1: ), you'd have to pry Kobe from their dead, manicured fingers.
If that happens, he'll definitely go to the East. There's already a rumor of a Kobe for Rip/Rasheed

Yeah, season ticket holders are gonna be pretty upset with the product this season. So much infact, I wouldn't be suprised to see much lower attendance this year.
My good family friend has season tickets (lower level too). We used to go ALL the time. Pretty much every game. Last season, I went to one. The rest we wound up giving away.
Lets see if we make some trades and actually show at least a little effort to put some allstar caliber players on the court....... Shouldn't be too hard though...... We've got a SUPER SWEET arena, the night life here would suit any superstar, we've got a first year coach..... and owners that won't let the GM do his job.......oh yeah, our squad is sooooo deep too..... :lol:.....every free agent in the league must be blowing up Petrie's phone......

And for all those who we're happy to see Webber leave, and talked all that smack about how bad he was...... our team has been on a downward spiral ever since that trade. I'm not saying that Webber was the answer to our problems, but we we're a MUCH better team with him. Period.

It's sad, but true. That's what happens when you give away the face of the franchise. However, he NEVER would have accepted a reduced role here, so I don't think they would have been anymore successful. The drama would've just been more fun to watch
I'm with Paul on this. I think they're gearing up for the trip to VEGAS!!!!

Just a side note, if the Kings do move to vegas, ALL B-Ball gambling will by law have to cease at all Maloof operated/invested casinos.
If they do move, I don't see it happening there. Probably more like S.F. They have a fan base there, and there is more than enough room for another team.....
Davey, what NFL team do you like? I'm guessing that during our ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL DOMMINANCE of the league for a couple of decades, we walked all over your team..... but you're gonna have to put that behind you
