The one in Edwardsville by the collage is still open. There used to be one on 159, going from Fairview to Swansea. But it has been a long time since I've been over that way, so not sure if that one is still open.

Justin, I think all those are closed unless they're on the ill side. Edwardsville has one.

Ours up here around Bloomington are struggling too. We had one that closed then went under new ownership and reopened, and it may do alright because the owner really seems to be trying to make a good impression.

Wendy's up here had a problem with really rude service and being dirty. But I'll tell ya, their chili rocks, fingers or not. And the Frostys....oh goodness....

Any of them in St. Louis or ST. Louis county and St. Charles too were owned by the same guy, like Leighton said earlier.

Due to financial difficulties and fighting with Wendy's corpporate offices, he just declared bankruptcy. They were independently owned franchises, so they all died a slow, horrible, court death.

I like Wendy's myself...

I am in Springfield, IL we had 6 or more Wendy's now we have only one and I hear it's due to close for "renvoations" That's the premise most of the others closed under

I know the one on Manchester is closed it right by where I work. But I know the one in Edwardsville is open as it is near my house and on my way to work. I love some Wendy's. Is there anything better than a Frosty?

Sidenote that Wendyys in Edwardsville is maybe 4 miles off the interstate, 270 that is. Still pretty far for you to drive for Wendy's.

Maybe try switching over to Jack in the Box tacos.
