CUT THAT MEAT! Ive never been so happy to see Peyton Manning's goofy face. I strolled into costco and saw one of their TVs on sale this month:
46" Sony Bravia, 120hz, 1080p, a nice TV, not 240hz, but hey, its nice. The best part is its only $800. The deal is lasting until the 28th. IF they run out, they will offer rain checks and honor the price when they get them back in stock.

I figured Id throw that out there in case anyone was looking for a nice new TV this tax return year.

i was at best buy today, saw the LED tv. IMO they didnt look that great, and correct me if im worng, best buy throws a high def signal to there tv section. samsung LED's for a 50" or so for about $2100 120hz, 1080p etc...

I just bought my samsung led 46 inch it is like nothing i have seen before. I had to get used to it at first because the picture is so different. when i say different i mean smoother and much more real life looking. I had a pioneer plasma before this which colors i think still surpass my new led but in the end this led is fantastic.

My only issue is now finding a reciever and surround sound i can hook up my new mvix ultio to start watching my collection of blue rays. Any suggestions. I need a receiver that decodes dts-hd audio formats and i am having trouble finding one under 400. They need to make a reciever speaker package that decodes dts-hd NOWWW.

what do you guys think about this tv? I am very interested in getting it soon. It seems it is $908 out the door.

anyone have first hand experience with this? I have read a lot of good reviews especially for this price for a Bravia

I know that Sony is coming out with 3D tv. It requires 240hz - that's all I know so far. If that interests you, find out more about it before you jump. I don't know if it's backwards compatible with all 240hz tv's once you buy the glasses/hardware. I just got an email from Sony on it today - left more questions than answers... we recently bought a 52" Bravia (240hz) so I kind of wanted to know ;)

If I didn't owe money every tax year I would so jump on this for my back room. Oh well, at least I can stare at my walls til I jump on your guys ballin boat. Lol

great deal tho

We just got a Vizio 47" 240hz LED TV and the picture is amazing. Vizio wasn't my first choice, but samsung LED TVs are expensive!

The Vizios are so much cheaper than Samsungs, its crazy. Gotta love the built in USB and Wifi on Vizios, also.

samsung.. sony is just lacking something the samsungs have when comparing the two side by side
