OT-what ya think?

jeez I thought tramp stamps were supposed to be used as a focal point for a guy or girl to focus on when doin the ..... Anyway I got tattoos on both arms and on my chest and back and I bet you'd never see em when i have a t shirt on..... actually working on a piece right now got a dragons head on my chest that's gonna go over my shoulder and cover my whole back.

Todd ,exactly, thats what Im talking about the doughnut hole.

I was talking to a kid at walmart like that in the sporting goods section, he said he just kept sticking bigger and bigger things in his ear.....wow dude that sounds fun.
Oddly he had the died black hair with the partial blonde patch.......dont know if its just me but it just looks like he was passed out drunk and roled over in cat pee or something.,
I got to get out of this thread before I get a citation of some sort.

Jinkies Henry! And here I am still trying to psyche myself up for the 1st one. lol That wrap around dragon sounds like it was well designed. How many sessions you think that'll take?

Ah yeah... the donuts. :) Reminds me of the things done in other countries where people use items to change things. There is a tribe of people that put things on their neck that gradually make their necks longer and longer over time and then in the orient women used to cram their feet into teeny tiny shoes to alter the size of their feet and positioning of their toes. (not sure if this is still done) Different strokes...

Just kidding around ,Tatts are kinda cool most people I know have at least one, some have full sleeves back piece done ,necklace ect... its cool but I've never found one that really had the right meaning for me.I have none and wouldn't just get one because friends have it.

Mel, i'm thinkin about four to five sittings....
I usually have a tattoo party in the summer with food and beer and the tat's are done by a good friend of mine who is an exceptional tattoo artist......

Nyce! I've got one all picked out but need to just go and get it done already. I'd drink beforehand but have been told that's a no go as it can keep your blood from properly clotting?

well, shoot, Mel...i'm on blood thinners...no problem.....i don't think one drink is gonna hurt you...

Yeah, your not supposed to be hammered when you get one. When your ready lmk and i'll send you to my buddy's place, if you can hold on i'm gonna have one in a couple of months (it will be cheaper at a tattoo party) plus i'll have food and drink as well......

I'm all for tattoos if you want them bit be careful! Tattoo parties are where the lions share of infectious disease is spread from in the tattoo world these days. Go to a respectable parlor and remember that you really get what you pay for. good ink is not cheap and cheap ink is not good!

My friend is a full time tattoo artist and a very respected artist. He uses new needles and ink for every tat. I have done this for the last five years so this isn't something I just thought off of the top of my head.......

Understood Ryan. :) I've witnessed many get tattoos in different situations. Sterilization practices are key. My aunt ended up getting her wrist tattoo from a guy in his basement but the reason he was there was because the place he worked for turned out to be less than responsible. His sterilization practices were completely up to snuff and her ink still looks great to this day. On the flip side a friend went to a professional parlor and had nothing but problems from infection to fading. I always make sure to see someone's work before putting my safety in their hands. Location is just a circumstance as long as you're dealing with someone reputable.

Well Mel i'll take my shirt off for ya and show you his work... I have tattoo's from when he first started that are just as vibrant in color as when I got them.....just excuse the beer belly(it's bought and paid for LOL...)

Henry I wasn't badmouthing your guy be any means. I was just throwing out a little cautionary note.

drinking and tattooing is a no no not only because of the blood clotting factor, but also some more ink will also be lost than normal.. happened to my friend. it still came out awesome (grim reaper w/ scythe on the bottom part of his side) but he was saying he had to change the bandage quicker cuz he lost a bit more ink. also the fact that your judgement is impaired as well... "hey, what would you like?" "YEA!, gimme a tattchoo off daffy duck on me foreheaddds please!"

those tattoo parties do sound pretty awesome, given i had an idea for a tattoo. ive always wanted to get at least one but i have no idea what to get.

Beleive me I have seen what scabs can do to you first hand... I would never put any of my friends or my wife in harms way. No offense taken....

LOlL.. I went to a tatoo prty once it was pretty cool but I knew better than to get to hammered around some of my cousins .I d wake up with a tatoo that said "Dave was here 79'" or some crazy thing.
