I'm a second generation cracker. My dad was born and raised in Ybor ("Gary" area). I was born in Tampa, but I've also lived in the Dothan, Alabama area, as that's where my mom was born/raised and lives now.

But I've been in the Tampa area for the majority of my life.

How about an authentic Mexican place... or a little Taco/Burrito place. Oh and I have been to every Mexican place in the Tampa area. Its just not the same.

Look up Los Chicos, formerly Pancho's, in Zephyrhills. It's pretty damn good.

taco bus on hillsborough and Nebraska, or the guy that sells tacos al pastor outside Noa Noa next to Taqueria mi Mexico on Armenia. Wait until my inlaws move here, we'll open a great restaraunt.

The taco bus is the place to be. Great food. Good sweet tea with lime too.
Pipos on Hillsborough is awesome. Not mexican but cuban, still awesome though.
