you need to know why he went to college 380miles away........you can't just drop in anytime like you could if he went to ucla. :D

thats the only reason why i chose ucla over cal (i gre up in norcal). and might i add, that was a damn fine decision on my part now that i look back upon it.

Hmm......didn't think about it that way. I guess it's been so long that I forgot why I left New Orleans and went to a school over 2000 miles away. If my kids are anything like their old man, I guess I'll have a bunch of $$$ to pour into this addiction of mine

Hey way more activity here than ESPN's msg board about UCLA. I was jumping up and down during that zag game. I tell ya, its the pent up energy. my class was the curse upon UCLA's football/basketball programs. I am so excited that we've finally got a good thing going! GOOOO BRUINS!

Yeah BABY! Hollins was HUGE again! I never thought I would say that! He's given us a new dimension and made this run possible. Go young fella!

go bruins.
even though i went to usc for undergrad, grad, residency, etc. i'm glad that a cali school will be going to the championship game.
college basketball isnt about who's the better team. its about whos playing better ball that nite. that's what makes it soo special. its not nba no seven game series.
i think ucla has a shot at beating florida. both are young and talented teams. will be a heck of a game monday nite.

Look at how Howland is calmly walking off the court while everyone is celebrating...a testament to his personality and coaching style.

Bring on the 'Gators...GO BRUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm......we shall see. As I recalled, it wasn't that long ago that UCLA ran off a string of 8 wins in a row. Short termed memory only benefits the feeble minded

While the Bruins have great basketball team, please, no talk of football! The 8 straight the Bruins produced against SC was just that.

During UCLA's steak.... 0 Rose Bowl wins, 0 National titles, 0 Heismans.

During SC's 7 game streak.

1 Rose Bowl win, 2 Orange Bowl wins, 2 National Titles, 2 Heisman winners.

No comparison.

Best of luck in tomorrow's National Title game.
(but, I'll be rooting for Florida!)

need a haterade refill? remember trojans are good only once.

LOL

The only good thing going for the USC right now is Nick Young but hes too young to do anything progressive by himself....

Anyway back on topic.. UCLA vs FLORIDA....It should be a good game and hopefully the Bruins come on top.

I never imagined them to get this far, time to add to UCLAS B-ball program just as these guys did..Reggie, Kareem,Walton, BDavis...Im guessing probably Farmer will be a next....

naw, farmar ain't in the same league as kareem or walton. how'd b davis get on that esteemed list?

snap, i need some haterade now too.

nonetheless....goooo bruins!

farmer aint that good, he'll be like the last ucla national championship team members.......a good COLLEGE b-ball player, and then wont go anywhere from there. except maybe mcdonalds to get a job........

You'll be seeing Afflalo and quite possibly Mbah a Moute in the NBA. Haven't really seen enough of Collison to know, but he might be there too.

Kevin

Well see. I know for a fact UCLA wouldnt be on ch.2 without him right now, even though their doing pretty bad. I know he didnt accidently win the Rookie of the Year award. And I sure as heck know hell be a NBA caliber player come around his senior year.

Collison? I dont think he knows, and or understands the game at all. He has an outstanding NBA frame, but lacks any potential of advancing with the big boys.

The other two mentioned above ARE basketball players.

Good grades and a frame can get u a UCLA scholarship, but not an admission ticket to the No Boys Allowed league.

UCLA better pick it up its not looking good...:(
