OT: Your other hobbies besides reefing...

So I'm bored doing more homework as usual, and I figured it would be cool to share what we do on our spare time besides reefing...


Here it goes:

My main love is cars... It was my 1st car and I'm pretty damn proud of how far i've gone with it and how much I've learned... It's a 2003 Subaru Impreza

The day I won best import at a small car show...

My other one is Longboarding!!!

Doing some slides... toeside coleman slide.

Let's see what else you guys got going on besides your fish tanks!

hey mayne! I longboard - i have a loaded vanguard that has the best bamboooooo flex! I produce music as well, (shameless plug) check out some of my music - its influenced a lot by my reefs which I have in my studio.. a lot of people say it may sound underwater

anyways - its mostly for hip hop artists to flow on - but i've been expanding it more as instrumentals if anything.

oh yeah and photography which is shown in my song videos! nice wheels too i'm a big subaru fan - favorite car is probably a plymouth prowler though lol - I bend corners in an OLDS 88 ('94) right now, a very well put together car - I've done little to no work on it and it purrs.

Mainly into cars, cobras in particular but I do not own one right now. I have been doing a lot of watch collecting lately, started with cheap seiko mechanicals currently doing boutique divers and next ill be moving up to the big leagues when I buy an omega planet ocean. I have a 2009 yzf-r6. Im on that most of the summer then go back to my tanks for the winter like most people when there done with the summer hobbies. Cars are sweet I was a valet in Vegas at the airport. Drove almost everything but until you have 200,000 to drop on a fast ride switch to bikes. I have a 10 grand bike and can get past anyone for a lot less then what you would have to do to a wrx.

Until some idiot not paying attention (80% of the drivers on the road) pulls out in front of you and you become an organ donor.

I was about a minute away from buying a 'busa one time but was talked out of it by the then girlfriend. Glad she did because I would've killed myself on it by now. I'll take my car over a bike any day of the week.

Plus once my car is done I will walk all over 90% of the bikes out there anyway. :hammer:

Unfortunately my winter car is my main car while I'm building up the Cobra.....

Wow fast57 now that's style. I love old school cars. Like I said I do love cars. I own a truck because it does everything I need. I want to take an old 40s to early 50s truck and fix it up all black with the wooden planks on the inside of the bed. Also badazz you already own a house I don't I'm still young and saving that's y I'm not dumping my cash into a car like all my other friends. I want a house and to put money into that instead of wasting it on rent which I've been doing for four years.

I have a big car family, actually just took my mom's car (2003 Corvette) this morning to get supercharged, My father daily drives a supercharged 2001 Corvette, excuse the thumb in the pic..

He also has a few other toys... like a 70 GTO, 69 Chevelle convertible, 66 and 65 Corvettes

Gotta love em.

Haha, vanguard is too scary flexy for me. I love my tan tien and dervish for general crusing and hand tricks. but love my topmount speed boards for a little speed and sliding. Gonna add some kind of top mount drop deck sometime soon...

I ride motorcycles, but that's more transportation than a hobby. I currently ride a Honda Valkyrie.

I restore and rock crawl old Toyota Land cruisers. I currently have a pair of 63 Fj-45s, a wagon and a pick up in mid-resto. I wheel a 73 FJ55 that has been sectioned to a 2 door, linked with coils front and rear and exo-caged.

How long does the built motor run on average?

I was into cars for a while and it's just not cost effective. For the best thrill to $$$, you can't beat a bike. There's nothing like full throttle second gear runs on a big bore sportbike short of skydiving or having jets strapped on you.

I don't even ride on the streets much anymore. A couple trackday weekends a year and my fix is met.

For less than the cost of a built motor you can have a bike that'll be able to run 10 flat and more than 140mph in the quarter mile. AND corner like a racebike.

All that with a warranty!



That said, if it rains, snows or it's freezing, game's over.

I was at Autobahn in Joliet and was keeping up with a Porsche... then all of a sudden lost boost. then some noise.... Oh well, it was on it's way anyways. It's going to AMS performance Wednesday.

ah, wonder if it was a wastegate crack that got too large. VF39's are pretty well know for the wastegate crack. (assuming you're stock anyway)
