OT:Your other hobbies?

Quick question for everyone-- How many times do you check RC a day. Ed, I am not trying to highjack anything, but surfing RC is a hobby for me.

While at work, I probably check RC 1-10 times an hour.
At home I might check a couple times in the evening.

so, where could someone get ahold of one of those 'coral cozies'?
can they be custom fitted? I'm thinking about something along the lines of a Euphyllia turtle-neck...

I played 3 seasons with the Sacramento Sirens...(pro womens football team).........now I take it easy doing triathlons and playing golf as much as possible.
Love to go and watch the Sac Kings...well,ok, maybe not lately but we're rebuilding right??!!

I have a co-worker who coached the SIRENS, his name is Steve.

I really like beer. Really really do.. Don't know if that's a hobby or not..

but here's a picture of my former beer wall. (took 2.5 yrs to complete it..and tore it down after I graduated and moved out of my apt)

2.5 yrs to complete, Slacker!

LOL, that is what I was thinking. No offense, but in my college days, that wall would have been built over a single summer break. Still a fun wall with all different beers. Cool!

But I digress, I love beer too. West Coast Micros for me. My wife really wants me to stop drinking before the baby is born...its a touchy subject as you can imagine.

LOL

took 2.5 yrs to complete it..

My buddy did this when we were in college. He only collected 6 pack covers from micro brews.... lets just say that compared to you, we must have been raging alcoholics

He had all 4 walls of his room covered pretty much top to bottom in no time :D

Nice collection though.... makes me thirsty....

But, unfortunately, I gave up drinking back in '03 ;)

haha. Well if I put up every case that I ever bought then the wall would have been completed probably in a yr. I threw away a lot of labels from the cases because I didn't want any repeats.

If i put up every single label it would probably cover 3 of my walls lolz..
(why would i buy repeats then? well when throwing a party...and being a broke college student...sometimes ya gotta save..so ya would buy cheaper beer that pplz would just guzzle down without caring for the taste)

so yea..that's the main reason for slackin' .

hell yes, glad to see people like beer as much as i do :) west coast brews have my vote by far. you guys ever try brews from lost coast or six rivers? highly recommended, esp. great white from lost coast.

hard to find other females to enjoy my beer taste, though. i had to pry a miller lite out of my best friend's hands last time we hung out. my guy friends are usually more up to a day/night of beer drinking. i was unfortunately convinced to try pabst recently.... it very nearly was the end of me (and my self respect.) foulest taste ever:thumbdown

Yeah, lost coast brews some great beers.

But as far as micro brews go, there's just too many good ones :D

If you like Pale Ale, I suggest everyone go out and find some Samuel Smith's Old Brewery Pale ale. Quite possibly the best beer I have ever had. Its not cheap though.....

Its hard to find by the 6'er, but I think you can get it at Trader Joes, but for sure at BevMo. The 24 oz bottles seem to be what most local vendors carry :)

Well, Hell, since one of my favorite hobbies is getting such through coverage, I must get my $.02 (once-upon-a-time deposite on beer bottles) in. One of my hobbies would be beer. Another is poker. And since this is the MARS list, I should let all know that both will be studies and exploited next Sunday (since there is no football or b-ball on in the summer) at my house. Any MARS member interested in beer and/or poker for the 15th is invited to e-mail me and get a seat, or at least a mug. Cigars are also fair game at the fest. A cavet . . . there will be mostly non-reefs in attendance. My tank is not up, but I hope to have the holes drilled by then. Poker will be dealer's choice, and if there are enough of such mind, a Texas tourny could also break out (there is room for two or even three tables). Just one rule . . . THE KOI ARE FOR LOOKIN AT, NOT FOR EATING!

I lived in Arcata, CA for 4 years and graduated from Humboldt State University. So, YES, Lost Coast and Six Rivers. Six Rivers makes amazing brews. Mendocino Brewing and North Coast Brewing (brewed at same location) are also amazing beers.

Larz, I'm dying to start being a regular for Texas Holdem. And Cigarz allowed makes it all the better. I'll definitely PM you.

A Reefer's tourny would be sweet. Buy-in could be frags! Talk about the perfect combination of vices! LOL
