WOW!

It's great to see all your plans coming together!

It really is looking good!

Thank you Bax.
Yes, It feels good to have the plan come together. It is one thing to put an idea on paper and a lot harder to see it come to reality.
Having all the equipment behind the tank makes my life a whole lot easier.

Very nice set up.

It must feel great to have all the planing, construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc behind you for the most part.

Congrats!

Dave

Thank you Dave.
It really is a relief.
We are still tweaking some of the plumbing and securing wires under the tank.
We are working on the ACIII pro controller and the ATO now.

Aquascaping is still on the move. We didn't like the way the left side of the tank turned out. We moved just a few pieces today, I think it is starting to take on the look we are looking for.

It is a really different scaping a tank that is 36" deep!
We have figured out real quick, that it is easier to have a person on both sides of the tank, the depth perception is incredible!

How is your build coming along?

We are taking a break from reality for a few days, we are going to spend it visiting mother nature!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERY ONE :celeb1:

See you next year!

:wavehand:

Happy New year to you too Sandy

As I key my laptop, our 400 sits on it's side on a dolly. I see the exterier over flow and the 10 holes in he bottom. We've had to block off the open end[top] because the cats decided to turn the inside into a play house. We figured that they could scratch the glass, so we put a 4x8 insulation panel against that. Problem solved.

It looks like the tank will sit there until my 3rd shift snow grooming job @ a ski resort is over. I still the 55 70 and the big sump with mangroves that need to be transplanted.

Anyway....all in due time.

Dave

Thank you all for your kind words.
We are back from our little vacation in the woods.
The tank seems to be fine without us.

We are putting the final touches on the room over the next few days.

I think today we are connecting the ACIII Pro to the tank.
I seem to be struggling a little with the program language (imagine that) I have posed some help questions on the Neptune site and Curt has been very helpful.

I really love the new lights, we can see some of the corals are already changing colors, right before our eyes, It is amazing.

Your tank has truly a natural look to it... that's definitely what we all aspire to do. Good job!

Thank you mOnk! We are still moving a few pieces around here and there as needed, only on the left side of the tank we are moving some of the live rock to achieve a more natural look instead of that fruit stand look.

Come on Ed and Sandy. Where are you guys? We need an update and we need it NOW

I know, I know :o

We took a little break from the fish room and real life for a little while. :smokin:

We are back home now.

We have about 4 things left,
mounting the RO/DI unit on the wall
connecting the self cleaning head on the skimmer
finishing the auto-top off
hooking up the ACIII Pro to the system!

Ed wants me to wait to post more pictures of the room after seeing yours and glassreefs system

( thanks for missing us )

back anyway. :p

Ed will be finishing the few projects in the room tomorrow,
so he says any way. The weather is too cold to fish!

Today I was able to hook up the ACIII Pro and
Whoo Hooo It worked, all my programing and questions asked to Neptune System worked!
WOW it was such a rush to know it works! :D

Ed wants to give all the details about the plumbing
(it's such a man's world when it comes to the Plumbing)

Here are a few pictures of the trim work around the tank.

This lid opens so we have access to the front of the tank.

I wanted the side panels to open so I could clean the glass with ease

the trim still needs a little tweaking, but by the end of this week, all "SHOULD" be done in the the fish room and the tank should be nice and tidy for me to take pictures.
