I hadn't looked at this thread for a while so you've made good progress. Glad GC came through for you given the bad press they've got from some people.
Check out my build thread by clicking on the little red house.
Thanks

Thank you English Rebel,
We are glad the tank is holding water!
You have to be very patience with GC.

I have seen your thread too, you are working are warp speed!

Sandy

I meant dust & dirt....small bits of stuff from the inside workings of pumps, pvc pipe, valves etc.

Dave,
Gottcha!
Yes, we did clean the tank inside and out.

Thanks for the comment but I'm not really that quick -- it's all smoke and mirrors. :p I held off starting the thread until I had some meaningful progress. I'm pretty much caught up now so what you see from day to day is my actual progress. Stay tuned.

When can we see picture..... :) Pictures....pictures....pictures !!

Today we are moving all the LR from the 120 the the new system.
:bounce1: :bounce2: :bounce3:

So I'm sure there will be LOTS of picture taking today.
The battery is charging as we speak
Ed wants me to take pictures of the the plumbing too. He did a fantastic job on the plumbing.
I'm sooooo proud of him:love2:

I was wondering about that:smokin:
Anyway great job on your build.

Thank you Pacific Reefs.
We moved all the LR and corals to the new system today.
Its been a long day for us. We took lots of pics...
We will share them tomorrow. :)

The move of the live rock and corals was very successful.
We have noticed very little to no stress on the corals or fish.
Today we are just finishing up the final touches on the room.
Ed is very excited about posting his plumbing skills.
Hopefully Ed will let me take some pics of the plumbing tomorrow.
Right now he is saying "no!" It's not organized under there! WAIT!

here are a few pics. of the move

Great scape Sandy :) Must say you and Ed is rolling on this tank. :)

Thank you Ed, I'm very pleased on the aquascape on the right side of the tank, I think the left side needs a little help

We have a beautiful rock I'll need to take a picture of the rock to show you, that is PERFECT for plugs of SPS's, it has been a challenge to scape around, I've been gazing at all the other rocks trying to figure that side out.
I think I need to stop looking at all the rocks so hard and maybe it will come to me.

Ed still loves his zoo's, yellow & green star polyps and mushrooms so I tried to create him a small zoo & mushroom island on the front right side of the tank.
He been calling it his misfit island ,

I keep telling him, that he will out grow the love he has for the zoo's and mushrooms soon. He say's NO, I really like the mixed look.

That looks really nice. You've left a lot of room for grow out and for the fish to swim. I see so many tanks that have way too much rock. BTW (and I know I could go back through and look) is that a custom glass tank. I see what looks like black plastic trim around the edges but I'm sure it's not.

Thank you porthios,
I am very pleased to see it set up.
Also our house is finally getting back to order again, and I can park the car in the gargae too!
We had four tanks up and running at one time.
We finally broke down the 120 it now lives in the garage.
The 135 is still up and running. Not sure why Ed still wants the tank up. All the fish have been sold a long time ago. Maybe by New Years we can gain our game room back!

Very nice. The system is coming along very nicely :)

Thank you mpoletti!
It was a long wait, but we are so pleased with the new system.
The house is so quite now, no more rushing water sound!
