Could not help my self, I had to get the camera out and snap at least one picture of the new additions.

Not to pry, but I just have to know how much that sucker cost...

That is the most amazing coral I've ever seen! I would give everything in my tank for one of those! :p

Wow! That's much less that I thought. I was expecting it to be closer valued to $80-90 a polyp. lol

If this thing takes off in your tank and you ever get around to fragging it one day, I may be interested in buying a polyp or two. :D

If there was a coral of the month, you would win.

Thanks, I can put you on the frag list for it and it is about 5 deep right now. It is doing very well, I have fragged it once so far and it is popping off baby polyps right now. I am amazed at some of the coloration of the baby polyps we are getting on some rainbow colonies (more colors and more intense). Got to love this hobby.

Well, I will be staying away I guess. My A echinata did not do well & fell victim to the Mussid coral killer factor in my tank. Sigh.. Its got to be those *beep*! mushrooms. i just know it..

Matthew

Thanks, the only thing it is not growing as fast as I would like it too. Alot of people like it and I have only fragged it once since I only have a frag myself. I will keep working at it, the only thing is I have to frag them when the wife is not around because she gets upset when I start cutting her babies.

Louis - Great collection especially your recent shipments from Austin Aqua Farms. Keep the pictures coming.

Scott

Thanks, I am water testing the new tank tonight. I will know in the morning whether I will be plumbing it in the system tomorrow or resealing it. Every thing looks good right now.

And now that she is retired she keeps a closer eye on me, especially when we go the store and I buy 4 or 5 tubes of superglue gel. I will keep you in mind on the frags.

Thanks for all the comments, now I will be plumbing the new tank all testing is done and it passed. I designed it with a removable frag shelf around the sides and back, it will definitely be a step up from the present one.

Here is our new Acan tank, it is a 30"x30"x16" diy glass tank with a wrap around shelf for frags or colonies. I decide to go with the black egg crate for the shelves, and Loc-line for the inputs. Tomorrow I will clean the tank front, add a thin layer of sand, move the light fixture from the other tank and start moving the corals. Here are some pictures first is dry tank, second is some detail of the shelves on the acrylic rail, and the third is with water flowing.
