if you lookin 4 bright yellow, I have seen some but it isnt easy to find
but if you mean yellow that would be more easy.
you can get the yellow inside with some green outside. put under HQI 16000k
about 8weeks it will become the colour u want and put it back to T5 light
them would keep the colour
maybe it can help you

I just looked, & that looked like a Flame-back angel to me..
As not to Hijack the thread, back to the Acans!

I just went back and read the post and it is an African Flameback in the tank and not an Atlantic Pygmy. Thanks for catching that for me.

nice collections! does your acans grow well on the sand? as in, expanding outward by growing its own skeleton. I was at nextwave this past weekend talking to one of the sponsor vendors and he said that they must be put on rocks so that they have something to attach to otherwise they just end up growing inwards and eventually dying off.

Northenreefer0 thanks for the comment it is after seeing pictures of your tank gave us the inspiration to build a new tank for our acans. As for seeing pure yellow acans the answer is no, the closest that I have seen is golden yellow. Here I had to order most of my acans online since none of the LFS can't get the more exotic colors.

Thanks Palancarpets.....Its great to see that my tank has inspired you to start your own.
