Our Christmas Card

Saw this idea on a photography forum and wanted to try it. I like the way it turned out so I thought I would share.

Thanks. And we can say "Merry Christmas". I just found this phrase on a sample card and liked it.

Yes, we each held a white foamboard then I photoshopped the images onto it.

Oh and if you plan to try this, make sure each person holds the board very close to the edges the way I did. It makes inserting the inner image much easier.

My wife didn't listen as well and I had quite a time erasing around her fingertips. I'm not that good in PS.

Hahaha... that came out good. I saw that over at FM too... in fact I commented on that thread. For a second I thought it was the same photo You look familiar... did you recently post some self portraits in the people photography forum?

When I saw that post on FM, I knew I had to try it. I'm always looking for different ideas. I suck at posing my family or getting them to act natural in front of my camera. So this worked well.

No self photos. Look at me, I belong behind the camera

For those of you who say you have too many kids you could always do this with Mom and Dad holding the foam board and one pic of all the kids inside..think I might do it that way..thanks for sharing..
