Our Little Vacation

This past week has been a blast for Jim and I. We went to Biloxi MS, with family and what I looked forward too, was going to Ships Island which is located at Gulf Port MS and is 10 miles out due south. It is a 1 hour ride there and you spend the afternoon there .. I just wanted to share some pics on what we saw .. Will definately do it again .. It was Beautiful
I do recomend to everyone here to just at least try it for a weekend as a great getaway..

What was the talk of the Oil Slick?

The whole time we were there ... Biloxi was getting ready for the oil to hit them.. but through out our vacation, there were no signs at all, it was heading more torwards New Orleans.. although we could see a lot of coast guard choppers passing buy and ships trying to block area's of the gulf ..

lol dave, jim wanted to but we weren't allowed to take anything that was wildlife from the island .. since everything there was protected .. Also that Island is considered to where Sea turtles in July go there to nest thier eggs.Kinda neat

Looks like a great time. Hope Robin and I can get away soon. Had planned a trip earlier, but that just did not happen. Now I am really worried at how this situation with the oil is going to affect us all.

I am really disgusted with this one and hope we get lucky, if we don,t it could really hit all of us in the pocketbook.

I really hope you and Jim can make it to the meeting this weekend!!
