Here is a picture of a creature Bob found in his tank with the rock he got from me. Anyone know what it is? I've never seen anything like it. Is it a nudi?

pat, that little frag of hammer you gave me seams like it's growing already. does it grow fast?
Mine have grown pretty quickly. I started with 4 heads. Then when I was trying to move it one time, it broke in half, so I had two 2 head pieces. Then I noticed a baby on one.
When I was trying to move the corals around to get the rock we were selling, I broke it again, and that's one of the heads I gave you.
Just keep watching it...you'll see it split and make more heads.:)

Pat and Bob,

How large is this thing? Can you get a closer picture? It almost looks like a cucumber to me, but the picture is too fuzzy to be sure.

Bob will have to answer it because I've never seen it. I don't have a clue as to what it is.
I know I did get 2 nudi's from the TBS tank, but they didn't look like that, and it was months and months ago I saw them.

brain, it's a little over an inch long and barely moves. now that you say it, it may well be a cuke.

It looks a lot like one of my filter feeding cukes doing a walkabout. Here is what mine looked like:

What would be interesting, if you still have it, is to place it near a piece of live rock with a hole just slightly larger than its diameter and see if it crawls in and opens up like this:

It very well might be. Bob, here's a picture I posted for you months back. It looks very much like the picture you just showed us.

I have always had a few curley cues in the TBS tank. Two of them disappeared months ago and have never come back.
I noticed since we moved all the rock around, the one we did have remaining has moved slightly to get more light.
Today, I noticed it had a baby!! :(

I just thought this was a cool picture of a hermit that came hitching with our part 1. Benny knocked it upside down. He is the terror of the tank for sure, and getting to be a real PITA. A silly little $6 fish is destroying $50 corals. He's cute, but I don't think his antics are. he knocked a zoa frag to the sand again.

pat, that one was much bigger and brown. brian, i have one of those in my 33. this doesn't look like it at all. this one is pure white. the filter feeder is very dark brown

...

Those aiptasia scare me. I thought I got rid of them all MONTHS ago, then a small one grew back. I think I have some aiptasia hidden where I can't see them. I have to get more Joes Juice; the bottle I had dried up on me. Adding RO/DI water to the bottle didn't help much, it jammed up the syringe when I tried using it.

I know I am late.... but I thought I'd give my 2 cents about the urchins. I am pretty sure I have the same echinometra species urchin that you guys have-- I have three of them, and they are all pretty darn big. I bought a frag of Xenia a couple months ago, and not only have the urchins not touched it, but the Xenia has grown very quickly. I've already had to trim it back.

I don't care for the aiptasia either. Weird thing....I just walked past the tank, and the larger curley cue is there, but the clear one that was next to it is gone.
I can't see it anywhere. I wonder if it's on the move again?

i,m seeing a little red slime in the new tank, never had this in the other tank. i ordered some red slime remover today. has anyone used this before and does it work?
