Out of the ordinary food selections

Has anyone ever tried feeding their fish mussels or scallops and the such? I've got some yellow tail damsels cycling my 65 that nipped a decent amount at the left over mussel that I fed my bta. Clowns showed slight interest in it. I ask because I have 2 pounds of mussel and I can't see it staying good long enough to feed it all to the bta. Got some shrimp and cut it up too. That's sitting in the freezer for now. I should also say my clowns and bta are in a 10 gallon tank that just finished cycling that is going to be my qt. Damsels are all alone in the 65 right now

I put scallops and mussels in my food processor along with several other fresh seafood to make my fish food and all my fish love it

No I know that but I'd use some kind of meat for that. Thinking mussels may not work though. Don't think they'll last long enough unless I find a better way to store them

Clams on the half shell and scallops have gotten more than one fish eating for me.
Frozen scallops are faves for my corals and BTAS.

I ended up throwing the mussels out cuz there's no way I'll be able to keep them fresh enough. Got the shrimp cut up and frozen. Probably pick some scallops up over the weekend
