Frag Swap

I had a great time, and finally became a member of the West TN Marine and Reef Aquarium Club!

I got to sell most of the equipment that I was no longer using, met some really nice/knowledgeable people, and won the raffle drawing for what I really wanted (Premium Coral gift certificate).

I am grateful for all the people who helped secure the location, get the tables/chairs/food/etc, and actually run the event. This was the first "frag swap" that I attended, and my expectation were exceeded!

Also wanna say a big thanks to Malisa and their group of hard workers for going above and beyond yet again.

Thanks also to Al, BJ, Steve, Teena, Bill, Marcus and Drew for all their help. Sorry if I missed some names.

I was very pleased with my sales and had a great time all day.

AHHH But this was a "point of Fact" "His" First Frag Swap, and mine as well.

Not having been to one in the past I can say that it was much better than what I had in my mind.

Kudos, really must go out again and again to Malissa, and those that she drafted into helping her. It is easy to overlook all the really hard work that goes into planning something like this, and quite often many get to reep the rewards for what a few have toiled much in order to make happen. Lets all plan to "pitch in and help as much as possible for our NEXT ONE.

Thanks to "EVERYONE" that had a hand in making this happen and "HUGE" Thanks to our sponsors from all over that helped to make this happen as well and "REMEMBER" The local sponsors that have supported this club both with dollars and time and remember them and what they do for us when we are looking to save a few dollars from somone that does not actively sponser our club either locally or through mail order.

Without the sponsors that we have (and hopefully more for the future) this frag swap and our club would not exist. Let these sponsors know that you are spending your money with them in part because of how they support this club.

Jenn and I had a great time. Swap are almost like family reunions (but the family grows everytime). I got some great stuff at the swap and after. I don't get to talk reef geek much these days, so any opportunity.
