Over 260+ items identified - by picture!

I have a population of snail/limpet/things I wouldn't mind sending you one or two... for identification pourposes, and photographs.
they eat algae, leave zoanthids, shrooms, fish, and xenia alone. its the type of snail without a whole shell: its one of those that has the covering over only PART of the body, can't contract into itself... part of the flesh is covering the top.
I started out with two hitchikers, today I counted 7 in the open. Pretty neat, a total of 2-3 cm. clear hair algae effectively also!!! they are white/clear with blackish/brownish dots.. thier shell (what you can see of it) is black with lighter brown dots.
they are EASY to get off of the glass, and I wanna say that they are cute. So far, replicate fairly simply, since 3 months ago I only had 2, and now have more-I'd guess at least 10, since they hide easily.

sorry for the second post, but it looks ALOT like the one pictured here http://www.seaslugforum.net/specieslist.cfm under the superfamily HAMINOEOIDEA the first bunch of pictures, specifically the speices of Diniatus dubia, H. elegans, H. hydatis
or perhaps a bulla ampulla... but they don't hide in sediment, and come out during the day just fine.
those are the ones closest to size/color... I'd really like someone to take a MUCH better look at them than I!!!

oh, forgot to mention: besides eating hair algae, they also eat cheato... came in on it even.

You have done a great job on the website. It helps me a lot as a biginner. Although I am still struggling with the terms such as IMO, LPS, SPS, BTA, LTA, etc... I think there is much more that I need to learn about this new hobby.

At last, I took the day to update the ID page. Now when you go to the link, you'll only have to load a small amount of images based on that specific category.
Also, predators have been included for that particular item, which I hope will help you. You'll see many "coming soon" and temporary pages associated with them as I acquire the images and info. This was quite an overhaul that I've been working on from time to time over the past few months.
