I purchased 4 little black snails as part of a cleaner package. I forget what they were called. Anyway that was about a year ago. Now I have so many in my tank that I can hardly see the sand. It there a trick to get these guy into a cup or a trap so I can start getting them out!!!??? Any help would be great.

Well the first thing you have to do is find out what they eat and to do that you will need an Id. Post a pic and I'll sure someone that knows their snails will give you an id. Also check out the killer conus thread, the starter seems to have the same problem you do.

I am experiencing the same problem with what I assume is a different type of snail. (mine are all white) At night they are all over the tank. Ill be following the same advise.
